Briefing on urban health solutions
This briefing highlights four interventions, which are considered effective at reducing harmful urban exposures and improving health, according to expert consensus surveys and workshops carried out by the ATHLETE project.
Measures to improve health in urban environments are only effective if they are accepted and accessible to the wider community. Engaging local communities is key for identifying and gaining acceptance for these interventions so that they have a wide impact. Therefore, this briefing also identifies key considerations from the community to ensure that these measures are adopted.
