HELIX Project
Welcome to the HELIX Project
The HELIX project represents a collaborative study across six established and ongoing longitudinal population-based birth cohort studies in six European countries (France, Greece, Lithuania, Norway, Spain, and the United Kingdom).
HELIX collected data from 1,663 mother-child pairs recruited during pregnancy. Data was retroactively collected and harmonized for the pregnancy period, and biomarkers, omics signatures and child health outcomes were measured at ages 6-11 years.
A second follow-up visit was conducted at ages 12-18 years with 884 adolescents participating where biomarkers, omics signatures and health outcomes were again collected.
If you wish to obtain HELIX data, please follow the HELIX External Data Request Procedures , starting with the submission of a request form provided to helixdata@isglobal.org
Detailed codebooks can be made available on request by sending an email to the HELIX Data Manager jose.urquiza@isglobal.org
