University of Liverpool (ULIV)

The Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems at the University of Liverpool (ULIV) is one of the largest of its kind in the UK and has a world-leading status for its excellence in research and education. Underpinning all the activities is the social model of health and its application to health inequalities, and to health and social care systems. Located in the Institute of Population Health (IPH) in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, ULIV vision is to improve health and reduce inequalities through a pioneering research and education platform that uncovers early years pathways to chronic diseases in adulthood and test the impacts of interventions in a connected world.

Main tasks in the project
ULIV works in WP3 on developing tools for exposome and omics analyses in the DataSHIELD platform, to allow researchers to conduct pooled analysis without having to transfer data.
